ABOUT THE IRONHORSE BALL
Please join us for an exquisite evening in the magnificent Preston Bradley Hall at the Chicago Cultural Center on Thursday, February 23, 2017, from 7pm-Midnight. Events like our 2nd Annual IronHorse Ball raise much needed funds to help fight ALS.
The IronHorse Ball features 15 Tasting Stations from top Chicago Restaurants, 10 open bar Cocktail Stations, an exclusive silent auction, and dancing under the Tiffany Glass dome. This year, we will present the "Grid Iron Horse" Award to retired NFL New Orleans Saint Steve Gleason, whose battle with ALS is shown in the acclaimed 2016 documentary, “Gleason”.
The ALS Association is hosting The IronHorse Ball as a charity fundraiser to help fight ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's Disease). ALS has no known cause, there is no cure, and there are no survivors. However, through funds raised from this event, we will continue to be the leader in Illinois for ALS research, advocacy, care services, and awareness. Please join us to help celebrate the strength of persons living with ALS and the hope for the day when we will find a cure.
